Lucille :: Miami Bar Review by Rusty

Miami Bar, 22 June 2008, 0900Hrs

Lucille has yet again and again receive much request to perform in Kuching. Last night, at Miami Bar, Lucille perform with Bleach and United Kids of Oi to strengthen their phenomenon in Kuching Underground Scene.

Last night at Miami Bar,The United kids of Oi has asked Lucille to play with them. Thanks to Kojex and Sypul for giving an opportunity to preform along with the United Kids of Oi!.

The show started around 10.30 pm, with the United Kids of Oi!. Their performance was great and energetic with songs like I Miss You, I Shoot the Sheriff and Gadisku with a Twist of Ska.

Next up was Lucille. Even though a lot of the audience don't even know them, they give their best with songs like Feel Away, a cover song from Radiohead - Fake Plastic Tree and Hilang which is their new and only Malay song at the moment. Overall, the performance of Lucille is impressive with the addition of their newest member, Jiji@GG..(I don't know how to spell his name,but the sebutan is still the same la) Next time I'll go and ask him how to spell his name right. Haha..

Ono and Nas...

Yet, their performance was great. ONE a.k.a Ian banging the drum so full of energy while GG feel away with the guitar picking, then there's Nas with his unique style of "mengoreng"guitar,not to forget Emi with his bass, full of energy and movement, he was like so into the sound of his bass that I suddenly think that he's fly somewhere else. Haha. Last but not least, Ono a.k.a Farid singing so clear and smooth while playing his guitar and even I'm at the back can hear his voice clearly. All in all!

Still need some improvement...

Lucille performance was great but still need some improvement and if you miss last Sunday jamming session, don't worry coz next week on Sunday at 9.30 pm, Lucille will perform again at Miami Bar. So, if you are around and got nothing to do just go there, MASUK PERCUMA! Still then if you want to show your support, just buy aek Cola...
